Support For Schools
Stay Well Staffordshire works alongside schools to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. We offer early intervention, group-based and whole-school support, designed to fit within the school environment and complement existing pastoral provision.

Group Wellbeing Workshops
(1 hour per week for 4 weeks)
Structured group workshops exploring topics such as:
- Helpful and unhelpful thinking
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Emotional wellbeing
- Coping strategies
Workshops are available for:
- Ages 8–11 or 11–16
- Up to 8 pupils per group
Dealing with Difficult Emotions (Anger)
(1 hour per week for 4 weeks)
Targeted group sessions exploring:
- The difference between anger and aggression
- Understanding emotional triggers
- Safe and healthy ways to manage anger and difficult emotions
Available for:
- Ages 8–11 or 11–16
- Up to 6 pupils per group
Mental Health Ambassadors
2-hour workshop
A workshop for children and young people to become Mental Health Ambassadors within their school.
Pupils will:
- Learn basic mental health awareness skills
- Explore how to support peers appropriately
- Understand the importance of boundaries and signposting
Workshops are offered to mixed year groups (around 10–12 pupils).
Students receive a certificate on completion.
