Support For Schools

Stay Well Staffordshire works alongside schools to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. We offer early intervention, group-based and whole-school support, designed to fit within the school environment and complement existing pastoral provision.

Support at a glance

Group Wellbeing Workshops

(1 hour per week for 4 weeks)

Structured group workshops exploring topics such as:

  • Helpful and unhelpful thinking
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Coping strategies

Workshops are available for:

  • Ages 8–11 or 11–16
  • Up to 8 pupils per group

Dealing with Difficult Emotions (Anger)

(1 hour per week for 4 weeks)

Targeted group sessions exploring:

  • The difference between anger and aggression
  • Understanding emotional triggers
  • Safe and healthy ways to manage anger and difficult emotions

Available for:

  • Ages 8–11 or 11–16
  • Up to 6 pupils per group

Mental Health Ambassadors

2-hour workshop

A workshop for children and young people to become Mental Health Ambassadors within their school.

Pupils will:

  • Learn basic mental health awareness skills
  • Explore how to support peers appropriately
  • Understand the importance of boundaries and signposting

Workshops are offered to mixed year groups (around 10–12 pupils).

Students receive a certificate on completion.
