1-2-1 Coaching & Support

Sessions are for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years and are provided either face-to-face, from one of Changes Wellbeing Centres or via Zoom.
1-2-1 Coaching & Support
Delivered by qualified and experienced staff and led by the young person, Stay Well provides 1-2-1 support to those experiencing mental distress, this includes:
1-2-1 Coaching
Sessions with a Wellbeing Coach (based on Changes YP’s 12-step recovery programme and Wellness Action Plan) providing them with a better understanding of their condition and how it can be managed, (i.e. how to play to their strengths, stay connected, and set and achieve recovery-goals)
1-2-1 Support
1-2-1 support from qualified CBT-informed practitioners, helping young people to manage their feelings, (stress, anxiety or low mood) by changing the way that they think and what they do
Depending on their needs, young people might also be referred to Stay Well’s group interventions

Weekly Peer-support Groups (PSGs)
Where young people can connect with others who are ‘in the same boat’ – share self-help tips, offer each other support, and learn to apply Changes 12-steps to manage mental distress.
Wellbeing Programme
Provides young people with information about and strategies to manage Anxiety, Low Mood, and Low Self-Esteem.
Decider Programme ©
Developed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to provide young people with 12 skills that they can use to manage their emotions.
Dealing with Difficult Emotions Programme
Providing young people with information about strategies to manage anger and aggression.
